The co-educational inclusive environment throughout our school, affords our girls and boys in Grade 1 to Grade 3 the advantage of shared learning  experiences. This assists our learners with being able to interact, share perspectives and function in a problem solving and empathetic manner.

The curriculum in this phase includes English Home Language, First Additional Language (IsiZulu / Afrikaans), Mathematics, Life Skills and Personal Development. It is further enhanced with Etham College’s well-planned value offerings of an integration of Entrepreneurship,  Emotional Intelligence and Robotics and Coding into our teaching and learning. Our teachers are passionate about teaching and this is proven in our excellent results.

A well-planned sport and cultural programme, is offered to our learners, to ensure a holistic education. Many hours are spent outside the classroom in not only play, but valuing the outdoor learning environment.
