Building Bright Foundations
Engaged Learning with a Future Focus
During this all -important phase of pre -schooling, our focus is on teaching and learning through play and exploration in Grade R. The activities and the curriculum are carefully considered to prepare our boys and girls for their formal learning phases. During this year, making sense of the world and acquiring skills, values and knowledge is paramount. Entrepreneurship and emotional intelligence are already woven into all our lessons, instilling in our learners an understanding of the concepts of our very important value -offerings.
An introductory sport and cultural programme is offered to our learners, to ensure a holistic education. Many happy hours are spent outside, to complete the full development of physical, social, and emotional well – being. We value outdoor learning and ensure a portion of our curriculum is taught while on well – planned outings. Our teachers also ensure the spiritual development of our learners through our Christian -based ethos. The language of teaching and learning is English, with isiZulu and Afrikaans as First Additional Languages.
